The society is based at Moera Community Hall, 105 Randwick Crescent, Moera. Horticultural shows take place at a range of venues owned by Hutt City Council. All horticulture shows feature colourful flower displays, a variety of plants and plant sales. For more information see our Information page.
Our next horticultural show is taking place on 13 & 14 February 2021 at Walter Nash Centre, Taita, Lower Hutt. This show is jointly hosted by the Hutt Valley Horticultural Society, Wellington Begonia Club and the Wellington Fuchsia Society. Additional details are provided below.
The show will take place under either COVID Alert Level 1 or 2 conditions. Hopefully we will be at Level 1 at the time.
Please use the Tocker Street entrance to the Walter Nash Centre. At present there is no access to the exhibition space from the front of the building (Taine Street entrance).
Please pay for the $3 entrance fee in cash. Although it is possible to pay for tickets in advance or purchase society memberships on the day via internet banking. There is also an ATM machine close to the venue, at the Taita shops.
The schedule for the above show, outlining all the flower and plant classes open for judging is currently under preparation. Please contact the secretary, if you would like to see a copy of the schedule for last year's February show.
